For years, I followed the same advice most people do.
Train harder.
Eat less.
Push through fatigue.
And for a while, it worked.
Then my body changed.
Fat loss slowed.
Energy dropped.
Recovery took longer.
Certain foods caused bloating and discomfort.
The harder I pushed, the worse my body responded.
That’s when I realized something important:
The problem wasn’t discipline.
The problem was using strategies designed for younger bodies.
Once I stopped chasing intensity and started focusing on strength, recovery, smarter nutrition, and consistency, everything changed.
Fat loss became predictable again.
Strength returned.
Confidence followed.
